Hanson Slated to Appear July 8 in Tulsa

Hanson, the cherubic Broken Arrow trio that rode last summer's hit, "MMMBop" to world fame, has booked a 14-date international tour, including a July 8 date at the Mabee Center.

Officials at the Mabee Center insist that the July 8 date is ``tentative,'' but the official Hanson Web site -- information straight from the boys themselves -- posted the complete tour schedule Wednesday morning, including the Mabee Center show.

Hanson previously had scheduled a larger, longer tour that was to begin early in April here in Tulsa, but the band scrapped those plans in mid-March just before confirming them.

The summer tour begins June 9 in Paris, comes ashore June 26 in Boston and winds up July 21 in Denver. They'll be playing such celebrated venues as London's Wembley Arena, Denver's Red Rocks Amphitheater and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
