Lindsay's San Francisco Review
July 15, 1998

First off, Id like to say that I think of Hanson so differently now, well, sort of, well... Anyway.. lets get on with this. =o) Oh my gosh this is sooo weird... I saw hanson... I mean they were like 50 yrds away from me...

So anyway, the concert rocked, it was soo amazing. Not even describable. But in a way in sucked... Don't ask I know I'm weird. Well first my friends Libby, Claudia, and I went and we watched.. oh my gosh the baha men!!!!! Haha. Sorry. =o) Actually, they were pretty good. Anyway, we were in the very center but a kind of near the back... but I had a great view! Because I stood on my chair and looked through binoculars.. but there was this evil lady behind Libby and Claud and she wouldn't let them stand on their chairs... =o(

But we made friends with some girls in front of us that were really nice. It was funny, they had those little Hanson necklace things and at first we thought they had backstage passes because that's what they looked like. Or something. Weird, huh. I forget their names. They went to the Hollywood Bowl concert, too. (Hey, if you guys ever read this, email me! I had red hair... and we were behind you...)

Anyway, Admiral Twin rocked!!! I'd heard their music before, but they are really great... I'm going to get their album soon. :) Then we remembered my friends Alela and Marie were like in the 9th row center so we wanted to talk to them before the concert... and we were trying to get their attention for like 20 minutes... it was really funny.. during admiral twin we stood on our chairs and yelled "alela" really loud and every thought we yelled 'taylor' or something and they all looked at us and then started screaming. =o) We yelled it about 50 times and we yelled Marie, too. So finally we got to talk to them and they were spazing cuz they saw Isaac behind a screen or something. =o)

On to Hanson now... well when we were talking to alela and marie we heard this HUGE shriek from back where the seats were so we thought hanson was on and we RAN back but then they weren't there. And then the curtain fell and i screamed soooooooooooooo loud but just cuz it broke. haha. =o) And then when they fixed the curtain the girl we met in front of us screamed and was like "Oh my gosh! They fixed the curtain!!!" It was really funny. She was being sarcastic... ya know. And finally they came...they were amazing!!!!!!! During weird I stood on my chair and watched taylor the whole entire time and then I hugged claudia and we almost started crying!!!!! And then when isaac played more than anything i was just in awe!!!!! it was amazing!!!!! I always loved his voice best but live it was like.. oh my gosh!!!! And then everyone went quiet for a minute and i screamed "i love you isaac!!" and i think he heard. =o) then tay played drums!!!! It was awesome. They played tons of songs, I think around 17. When they played "Weird" I almost cried. I watched Taylor the whole entire time. It was sooo sad, but soo amazing at the same time. The best songs, I thought, were "Weird," "More Than Anything," and "Stories."

Stories isn't my favorite song, but they sounded really, really good when they sang it. Then, Zac had super soakers and he got the stage wet and tay ran across it and he fell and turned all red and then he was like... "umm, the floor is wet." It was funny. and then zac tripped going back to his drums... and then ike broke a guitar string. =o) (these Hanson's... hehehe) He went off stage and either he got a different guitar or he fixed it in like 2 seconds. So it was great. Not the best day of my life cuz at the end we were soo sad we were like, "were never going to see them again!!" =o( and then my mom went to the wrong parking lot so we were like the last car to leave we were sitting on the hood of the car singing harmonies to stories until my mommy came. =o) Then she told us she was like 5 ft away from hanson and she saw them leaving in their tour bus!!!!!!!! Hehe. How ironic. Well, it rocked.

If I could describe it in a couple words I would say it was fun, weird, interesting, sad, and amazing above all things. It definitely showed me that Hanson are very, very talented when it comes to performing. They played each song beautifully. I loved it, and it was the happiest, saddest, funniest, and definitely *weirdest* day of my life. =o) Hanson... is awesome.
