Lynn's Boston Review
September 21, 2000
I went to the Boston This Time Around Concert on September 21,2000. It was my first concert. And It rocked. My friend Jessica, me and her rents brought us, and we ended up getting 6th row seats!!!!! A we were getting in line, we saw several kids walk by us. I took a double take and realized that the kids were their siblings!! I think that it was little Jessica that ran back to the tour bus. Seconds later, Mackenzie came charging right at me. I moved off to the side so i wouldn't get hit. It really is amazing how much he looks like Zac. We were the second party of people to get our tix. We were shown to our seats, and saw M2M. They opened their show with "You Never Know". Then they played a few more songs before they opened the acoustic set with "Lucy". And Isolemnly swear, that during "Lucy", Zac looked straight at me.I nudged my friend to tell her, and Zac almost burst out laughing, ruining the whole song. During the middle, Tay took off his shirt, revealing his wife-beater. Ike looked at him and took off his shirt showing HIS wifebeater. Zac didn't take off his shirt :( I really wanted him to, but oh well. They went off stage and it was over. Or so we thought. Zac yelled. "Wanna hear more????" and the crowd screamed and shrieked . They came out and did "Man from Milwaukee" and the chorus of "This Time Around". They went all over the stage shaking hands and saying "We love you....Hope you had fun.... Good night everybody!!" Then we went in line to get shirts and the such, and I took 45 minutes to get a shirt and lineyard. Shirts there cost more than the tix do, so be prepared. (Tix were $26, shirts were $28) We finally left, and headed out, but didin't leave until we joined in with a crowd of chicks singing "Wish That I was There", "MMMBop", and "Runaway Run." All in all, it was the time of my life and I would do it all over again if I could.
